Cats!

Not a surprise but Lily LOVES the cats! Our two cats, Hines and Fetzer (football and wine, guess who named which) seem to be warming up to Lily. Hinesy more than Fetz. Hines comes in to Lily's room every morning for his morning loving from the little peanut. She now sits on the floor and squeals at him once she spots him. It's hysterical. She reaches out to "pet" them, sometimes grabbing fistfuls of hair to the cats dismay. So Big!

Little Lily is growing like a weed! (One of the cutest weed's I have ever seen!) She had her 6 month checkup on Friday with our new pediatrician.  Lily weighed in at a healthy 16lbs 7 oz (50th %) and measured 27" long (89th %).  I think she's going to have those long Bozic legs! She was a trooper with her shots, she only cried after the 2nd prick.  Her favorite part of the visit was the exam table paper.  She had a blast pulling, grabbing, ripping and eating it.  yumm! 

Still no teeth......where are they hiding!?  She's still working on crawling but she prefers to stand more than try to crawl. She holds on to a toy, table or chair for a few minutes at a time while she stands and looks around.

6 Months Old and Lily's 1st Airplane

Thursday, Lily turned 6 months old!  We can hardly believe it, but we couldn't imagine our lives without her.  Everyday is better than the last.  Her smiles and giggles make Mom's heart melt and Dad loves her curiosity and really enjoys playing games with her. 

Thursday was not only the day Lily turned 6 months old, but also the day Lily boarded her first airplane.  Mom and Lily went to St. Louis to visit Mom's best friend, Amy.  We had a wonderful time!  We visited the neat Botanical Gardens, the amazing Gateway Arch, saw the great Mississippi River and walked around the beautiful city. Lily really enjoyed the Olsen's bulldog, Madison.  Every time she saw her, she giggled and wanted to pet her.  Daddy---Lily wants a dog, she told me!

A Visit from Unlce Brett

Tuesday night Uncle Brett came over to make us dinner. Brett might be the best stromboli maker in the WORLD!!  Dinner was delish and it was great to catch up. Lily didn't stay up for too long.  For the past few days she has been going to bed around 7:30pm and has been sleeping till 5-5:30am. We're just happy she's sleeping through the night again.  Last weekend was a rough one!

Welcome to Football Season!

Today marks a very important day in the life of Lillian Bozic.  Her FIRST FOOTBALL SEASON! She started the day by waking up at 2:30 am (obviously b/c she was SO excited for the 1pm Steelers game), followed by a 6:00 am wake up call to get some quality play time in before the game.

The rest of our weekend was busy.  We spent Friday getting the townhouse ready for the new owner and Saturday we went to two parties! They were a lot of fun and it was so nice to see our friends.

We spent Labor Day weekend working around the house and spending time with friends and family. Because the weather was so nice, we spent a lot of time outside.  Lily loved being outdoors and was ultra adorable in her sun hats. Sunday, our friends Jay and Kelly came over then on Monday, Grammy Louise and Great Grammy came to visit.  Both afternoons, we spent outside BBQ-ing and relaxing out on the deck. Lily showed off her cheerful smile and new sippy cup gripping skills.
