Hello Summer!

Hurray, summer is finally here!  And just in time, Dad put Lily's gigantic sandbox together.  She is slowly getting used to it (I think the sand is a little overwhelming) and has started to play with the sand toys more.  At first she just stood there staring at the sand, confused and not very thrilled.  Well, we have all summer to work on that!  From the sandbox, we moved to the baby pool....strategic move by Mom in an attempt to stop sand from entering the house.  The baby pool was not a success......too cold! Mom and Dad really liked it though! We all enjoyed our long weekend together!

Lily almost has all 4 molars bringing her teeth count up to 10! Nothing treats sore gums better than ice cold popsicles.  Lily loves them!!! She is also learning how to go down the stairs backwards and she also blows kisses! She is quite the 'chatty Cathy' as well.   In addition to Mama and Dada, Lily's vocabulary currently includes:

Nana = Banana
Ba = Ball
Tat = Cat
Eow = Meow
Ooo = Moo
Tee Tee = Tweet, tweet
Da = Everything else

Fun on the deck!

Babies and Birthdays!

Lily and Mom had another girls weekend while Dad ventured off with some friends to Penn State for their annual man-weekend.  We had a great time and saw a few friends.  First on Saturday, we visited the Ingram's and new baby Madison.  She was 1 month old....Lily wasn't too interested in her but sure did like her older brother, Jacob's toys. Sunday afternoon, we went to the city to celebrate Stella K's 1st birthday! Everyone had a blast.

Daddy's has the most comfortable lap.

The Park and Hats

The Bozic's have had a great week! The weather has been perfect, allowing us to take advantage of nights playing outside. We ventured out to town this week for dinner and Lily's treat for being such a good girl was a visit to The Tot Lot. It was Dad's first time there. I don't know who had more fun, Lily or Dad! Up and down slides, tire swings and cars...fun, fun, fun!

Lily has been into hats this week. She found Mom's baseball caps and insisted on carrying all of them around in the morning. She even wore one for a while. Then on Saturday night, she sported her strawberry hat to match her strawberry outfit. Grammy Louise, Great Grammy and Poppy, Aunt Briana, Uncle Brett and Uncle Tony came over on Saturday night for dinner. Everyone had a fun time playing together! Lily loves to chase you around the house, show you her soccer ball and read books. She's so much fun!

Uncles!

This week, Lily was lucky enough to see two of her uncles! Thursday, Uncle Brett came over for dinner and got to hang out with Lily a little before she went to bed.  Friday morning and Sunday afternoon Uncle Jeff came to visit from California! He was in town for a friends wedding on Saturday and made sure he scheduled time to see his little niece.  Lily insisted on wearing her winter hat -- which she didn't like to wear during the winter months on Sunday, when it was 78 degrees and sunny. She's a little character!!

Lily is still loving her evenings outside playing with the neighbors dog and watching the cats run around. Her most favorite thing still is going on wagon rides all around the yard and up and down the long, steep driveway.  Needless to say, Mom and Dad are getting our workouts in!

She has also discovered a love for bags...small, big, doesn't matter.  She picks them up and drags them everywhere she goes.  Dumps the contents and then puts things back in.  We got out her first purse from Grandma Bozic and she showed off her new accessory on Saturday night to friends we had over.  I know I am her mother, but it was the cutest thing in the world.

Wagon ride with her soccer ball!
