Happy Halloween!

We've had an eventful few days with hurricane Sandy visiting us a knocking out our power but luckily the power came back on just in time for Halloween Trick or Treat!  Lily had a great time getting candy and riding in her wagon with the neighbors.

We made the best of Hurricane Sandy.  While we still had power, Mommy and Lily made cupcakes!

What fun weekend we had in Pittsburgh!  Fall fun, Toy Story, baking, dancing and trains pretty much sums it up. 

 

Friday afternoon, we made it to Nee Nee and Pap Pap's and Lily found a new house to play in on the patio!  A few moments later, she discovered a big pile of leaves to jump in with Aunt Krissy.  Talk about a welcome!  Lily loved it!!

Next Lily wanted some cookies but Nee Nee was all out.  So Aunt Krissy and Lily made a fresh batch! Lily loved it all, especially waiting for the cookies to come out of the oven.

 Later that day, it was time for the wedding reception.  This little lady had the best time dancing and running around.

 A trip to Pittsburgh just wouldn't be complete without a few trips down to the train room. Sunday morning, we spent some time watching the trains with Pap Pap.

Where is Daddy?

Lily and I have made up a song that we sing while we wait for Daddy's train to come.  It's simple and silly and I caught it on video yesterday.

Finally, she's a soccer girl!  And it figures that Lily had the best time and followed along the most at the last soccer practice of the season.  She had a blast running around and playing. We can't wait for the next session!

On Friday, Lily decided to go to the Philly Zoo to ride the big horsey.  She had the choice of the pumpkin patch or the zoo and she chose the zoo with much enthusiasm.  Grammy Louise came down and we picked up Uncle Brett on the way to the Zoo.  We had a great time and Lily LOVED her horsey rides with Uncle and Grammy.

Last weekend before football, we took Lily to the park in town and she had a ball.  Her favorite part was going down the slide and then directing Daddy to follow her.  "Follow me, Daddy.  COME ON!" She also really like spinning in circles on one of the park toys.

During football, to let Daddy watch all of the games, Mommy and Lily painted lots of pretty pictures.  Lily refused to smile, so sticking her tongue out was the next best thing.
