Splish, Splash and a trip to the Philly Zoo

Lily and Mom surprised Dad two Friday's ago by washing the cars and boy did Lily LOVE IT!  She loved scrubbing with the sponge and making bubbles but mostly she loved playing in the dirty soapy puddle of water in the driveway.....she must have spent 30+ minutes just splish, splashing away. Sitting, standing, kicking, jumping, anything you can think of.  Mom happened to catch her playing on video as she used her lacrosse stick heads as oars.  She was singing "Row, row, row your boat" but I didn't catch it in time.

Lily has been loving spending time with Daddy lately too.  They lay together and watch her new favorite movie, The Lion King!

Just this past week, we went to the Philadelphia Zoo with Uncle Brett and his roommate, Chris.  We all had a blast.  The weather was perfect and the animals were awesome!  We saw polar bears playing in the water, giraffe's eating, hippo's bathing, lions, otters, monkey...you name it!  We spent a lot of time in the petting zoo where Lily befriended a dirty (the dirtiest) sheep and brushed him over and over again.  So fun!!

Saturday and Sunday, Lily spent with Ba, Pops and Jack so Mom and Dad could go to a friends wedding.  Lily had an eventful day playing with Jack outside, looking for fish at the pet store and playing at the clubhouse.

Back to Pittsburgh & Easter

Midway through the week, we took a trip back to Pittsburgh so Daddy could go to the Pirates opening day game.  Aunt Krissy came in from Chicago to visit too.  It was so fun! On Thursday, Grandma, Aunt Krissy, Mom and Lily all went to the Aviary to see the birds.  Lily had such a fun time and even learned how to stand like a flamingo!

That evening, the Easter Bunny stopped by and left Lily some awesome gifts!! Thank you, Bunny!

On Friday, Mom and Dad went out in Pittsburgh for the day and Grandma, Pap Pap, Aunt Krissy and Lily all went to the Pittsburgh Zoo.  Lily LOVED IT and got to see so many animals up close!!  Here are a few pictures, courtesy of Pap Pap.

Back to Lily's house and Easter Sunday! (And Daddy's birthday!) The Easter Bunny came to our house too and left some eggs and a basket for Lily.  Her favorite gift was the pretty nail polish! She had Momma paint her nails right away. Well done, Bunny!
