IT'S A BOY!!!

John Alan Bozic was born on Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 at 10:12 am, 2 1/2 weeks before his due date on June 14th.  He weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and measured 20 1/2" long. His delivery was an amazing experience for Mom and Dad. We are so excited to have a son and a brother for Lily!

Lily was very excited to hear that Baby John got her a present in hopes to win her over.  A dress, pink sandals and Peter Pan!  Great job, John! All were a hit!

The Most Memorable Memorial Day Weekend

Who knew that Memorial Day weekend would be so special?  We decided to spend the remainder of the weekend together, after fun at Bella's house on Saturday. Daddy taught Lily how to fly a kite, Lily rode her tricycle and played games outside and Mommy and Lily planted flowers and talked about the baby coming.  Lily said she wasn't ready yet and baby could come in 4 days.  Little did we all know that baby had other plans. 

Daddy and I agree that Lily was so happy and her smiles and laughs from the weekend will have special places in our hearts forever as her final days as our only child. So before she has to share the spotlight, this final post is all about Lily, the light and joy of our lives for the past 3 years 3 months and 12 days.

May 27th, 2013.  Lily's last day as an only child.  Here is where she told me baby was not coming today...but could come in 4 days.  She had fun riding her tricycle and playing outside with toys today.

Bubbles!

I have to start this post of with sharing the absolute best part of my day with everyone. Every day, when I pick Lily up, she comes running into my arms screaming "Mommy, Mommy!!!" and gives me the biggest hug.  This week, Daddy was able to experience it and I got it captured on camera. The camera didn't pick up her shouting "Daddy, Mommy!" but she was so happy to see Daddy!  It's so very sweet!

We kicked off Memorial Day weekend with a BBQ at Bella's house and the girls had a blast playing with bubbles.  Enjoy!!

Making Music

Lily received a special package this week from Aunt Adrienne (Auntie A).  The box was filled with princess themed items from cups and plates to toys and musical instruments.  Lily loved opening everything and has really enjoyed playing all of the instruments.  We now have so many instruments and noisemakers that we will never EVER need any more!  :)
