Baby's first photo bomb

Last Sunday, while Daddy was visiting Uncle Jeff and his friends in Las Vegas, GiGi, Grammy, Aunt Bri, Uncle Brett and Uncle Tony came over to celebrate Grammy's birthday and to keep Mom company.  GiGi and Grammy got to see Lily at ballet class and then while we waited for the others, Lily showed GiGi all of her photo books.  Baby John totally photo bombed the sweet moment!

Baby is 9 Months, Brownies and Ballet

Someone is 9 months old already! Johnny has been keeping us all on our toes as he navigates around the house.  He pulls himself up on almost everything and is so happy that he can chase the cats everywhere.  The cats are not pleased!

Uncle Brett came over for a visit on Saturday and not only played with Lily but the duo made an amazing batch of brownies together.  Later, we went to Bella's house and the girls watched Frozen and played dress up as Anna and Elsa. It was adorable!  We've also kicked off a new session of ballet.  What a fun weekend!

Time is flying by, but where is spring?! We're about to be pounded with some more snow!!

And, he's mobile!

Look. Out. World. Johnny is on the move and nothing is getting in his way. This active little boy swiftly crawls from one end of the room to the other...or towards anything of Lily's...and is pulling himself up on everything.  He's 150% boy, diving head first over anything in his way.  Boys are so different than girls!

We had visitors last weekend for the day.  Thanks to Jack, Ba and Pops for making the trip down!

We've been enjoying the snow mother nature has been dumping on us too.  Mom and Lily built a snow family just like ours.

January!

Where did January go?  Time flies when you're having fun!!  We are enjoying the winter weather, especially our snow days at home! Lily is just an amazing and caring big sister and Johnny is growing like a weed.  A cute weed!  We've had a lot going on this month, but to sum it up:

Lily really loves role playing as different princesses and Mom, Dad and Baby John are all characters in her stories.  She thinks it is hysterical to make Johnny laugh and makes an effort to comfort him when he gets upset. She likes dancing to Mom's music (yessssssssss) and we just saw the movie, Frozen and she is obsessed.

Johnny dove into solid foods, literally stealing his friends food at school. He barely has one tooth and loves spaghetti, waffles, pancakes and veggie burgers.  He is on the verge of crawling and pulls himself up on almost everything.  He is obsessed with his big sister and smiles the biggest smile when he sees her pretty face. Tied with Lily is Mickey Mouse.  I think we have a 1st birthday theme!
