First Thanksgiving!

Our little turkey had a great first Thanksgiving.  She tried turkey, mashed potatoes, squash and sweet potatoes.  Her favorite were sweet potatoes!  We kicked off the holiday up at Ba & Pops' where Lily got to crawl around with her Aunties, Megan and Kaitlyn and play with Ba's 5 month old Golden-doodle, Daisy.  Lily loved Daisy and all her kisses. From there, we headed down to Grammy Louise's where Lily got to play with another doggie, Guster and a new found toy...a colander!  Banging, kicking and throwing the colander as well as water bottle and Tupperware; it was entertainment for hours. Uncle Brett helped to entertain Lily as well on Thanksgiving night at Grammy L's with his super-interesting knee bending contraption.  Why do we need toys?

On black Friday, we headed back up to Ba & Pops' for a family photo then back down to Gram's for Thanksgiving dinner #2. Lily got to see Aunt  Bri, Uncle Tony, Great Grammy and Great Poppy. She really enjoyed making a giant mess and playing with her food at Grammy Louise's.  Food was everywhere!

We are so blessed and thankful for our family!  We hope to instill in Lily all of the love we have learned over the years for our families and friends.  We love you all...sappy Mommy, signing off. Now on to the best part -- pictures of our Lillian!

On Thanksgiving morning, Lily discovered the cats water fountain....

"What's this? Let me touch it."

"Wowwie, that's COLD"

think, think, think....

She dove right back in!  Needless to say, the kitchen floor got a good wash, the cats got some fresh water and Lily got a new outfit. :)

A Visit to Grandma & Grandpa Bozic's

The Bozic clan (all 5 of us...3 humans plus 2 cats), packed up the car last weekend and headed to Pittsburgh.  We had a great time visiting with Grandma & Grandpa!  Lily loved every second with her loving grandparents.  Lily's second trip to Pittsburgh was full of excitement....Each morning she helped Grandpa get the newspaper, got to play and crawl with G&G Bozic, played the piano with Grandma, watched a Penn State game with Dad & Grandpa, got rocked to sleep and fed by Grandma, and how could a visit with Grandma be complete without a few walks outside.  We had a wonderful weekend!!
The wooden spoon made it to Grandma & Grandpa's!

Baby Bach or Beethoven??

Morning playtime. :)

WE ARE.....

And yes, that is an EMPTY beer bottle!

She's determined to walk

"Let's go get the paper, Lil", says Grandpa

We can't wait to see the WHOLE Bozic family over Christmas!  Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Lily the 8 Month Old Talking Inchworm

8 months old!
She's 8 months old, she's loud and she's mobile!!  Lily has learned she can control her volume and has mastered the inch-crawl.  She crawls for a few seconds then falls to her belly and inches along panting.  It's fantastically amusing!  Her favorite time to belt out sounds is between 6-7 am...even on Saturdays.  (We'll remember this, Lily!)  This week she tried saltines at daycare...she enjoys chewing on the crackers for a few minutes then breaks them into millions of pieces. (Soooo fun for Mom to clean up) She also discovered a love for wooden spoons and Tupperware.  She loves to bang her wooden spoon into anything that will make noise and then chomp furiously on the spoon.  No teeth yet.....seriously where are they hiding?

8 Months Old Today...Click to see me crawl some more! This video is from this morning 11/16/10

She loves to drink on her own!

Almost!

Lily with her first official Halloween candy.  (A Kit-Kat)

She's so close!  Lily has been working very hard on her crawling this week.  She gets up on her hands and knees, rocks back and forth, tries to move her arms then goes into plank position, then plops down on her belly and spins in circles and pushes herself backwards.  She's almost there!
We had a great week.  Lily is feeling better (last week we all had the sniffles and a cough) and sleeping almost 11 hours a night again.  Hurray!  She continues to talk; "da da da" is her word of the week.  Friday we went to Linvilla Orchards with Jessi and baby Stella.  It was a little chili, good thing we got a chic new jacket from Aunt Krissy to wear!

Assuming the position to crawl.

"Scratch that, I'd rather sit here."

She was not very happy when we put her down.

Lily really likes the farm magnets.  She likes to pull all the animals off and throw them across the floor.

Stell and Lily.  <3

Pretty babies!

Fetz is finally letting Lily pet him.  They sat on the top of the couch for a few minutes...until Lily's "pets" became a bit too rough.

Skyping with Aunt Krissy!  Hopefully next time we'll be able to see you! :)

Enjoy the beautiful fall weekend, everyone!!

Happy Halloween!

Lily's first Halloween was so much fun.  She got to wear her costume three times! Friday, for her daycare Halloween parade, Saturday for a soccer game and a party at the Calamita's and Sunday for Halloween day!  Lily gets more fun each day and her little personality is really starting to show.  She loves peek-a-boo, raspberries and laughs when she's tickled.  We have a ton of Halloween pictures for you all this week...enjoy!!

I had to include this picture....Lily in her Beatles onesie!

Tummy time with Daddy

Halloween Parade at school!  Lily is in the 2nd row in the red buggy.

Lily and Bella! Lily had just woke up from a nap and had no idea what was going on!

Bella making sure Lily is still there.

Here's the happy kitty!

Pops ducked out of work to come watch the parade! Pretty kitty!

Saturday at Aunt Bri's soccer game, we dressed up again.  Here is Lily with Grammy L.
Everyone loved her shoes.  Thanks Aunt Krissy!

Prettiest kitty ever.

Uncle Bunk even made it down to the soccer game, crutches and all.  Lily got lots of kisses from Uncle Bunk.

Proud God Father

Uncle Brett, Grammy L and Kitty Lily.

Aunt Bri dressed up to Coach her game too!

Lily gets pretty excited for her meals now.  "Give me lunch!", she thinks but it comes out "da da daaa"!

We wore Halloween shirts, bibs and socks all week long.

Dad and Mom dressed up as Pauly D and Snooki from The Jersey Shore.  Lily was very confused when she woke up from her nap and her parents were orange and had crazy hair. We're fist pumping here.

So jersey.  Lily's still confused.

Who is this man, and what did you do with Lily's Dad?
