Friends and Family

Lily LOVES LOVES LOVES bath time.  Her favorite part is getting hosed off.  She laughs when the water sprays on her face. 

Lily had an action packed weekend.  Friday night, we went to visit Isabella and her Mom Gina. The girls had fun playing together and Lily got to play with some big girl toys like a walker!  She LOVED it!  She attempted to push her music table around the room the next day. Saturday Grandma Louise, Uncle Brett, Great Grammy Audrey and Great Poppy came over for dinner. It was lovely to see them and Lily got to show off her standing skills and got lots and lots of kisses.  Finally, on Sunday we went to a holiday party at our friends Brad & Alane's house.  Thank goodness we have a short week coming up! 

Today is Ba's birthday, we'd like to wish her a very happy birthday!

9 Months Big!

Lily is 9 months old! She celebrated her 9 months on earth with some quality early morning time with Mom and Dad then was so excited  all day for her 3/4 of a year birthday that she only napped for 40 minutes all day long!! After her napless day at school, her evening continued with a lovely cheese omelet for dinner and stayed up wayyy past her bedtime crawling, talking and standing, until 9pm!  Let's hope she sleeps till 9 am tomorrow morning. Happy 9 months, Lily!

Finally!!  Lily's two bottom teeth broke through this week.  She's been handling it pretty well and is chewing on anything she can get her hands on.  She now pulls herself up, from sitting to standing without a problem and loves to walk while holding on to your hands. Our little baby is growing up!!

Santa's Coming!

This week we brought down our boxes and boxes of Christmas decorations and decorated the house.  Lily got to help unpack the tree, hang some ornaments and help Dad set up his train. And on Friday we went to visit Santa! She was extremely intrigued by Santa's big white beard and glasses! We couldn't get her to smile, but she still looked cute as a button!  Friday was also Grandpa John's birthday! Happy, happy Birthday!

She found a leaf on our way back from the mailbox.  We found out how leaves taste....

First Thanksgiving!

Our little turkey had a great first Thanksgiving.  She tried turkey, mashed potatoes, squash and sweet potatoes.  Her favorite were sweet potatoes!  We kicked off the holiday up at Ba & Pops' where Lily got to crawl around with her Aunties, Megan and Kaitlyn and play with Ba's 5 month old Golden-doodle, Daisy.  Lily loved Daisy and all her kisses. From there, we headed down to Grammy Louise's where Lily got to play with another doggie, Guster and a new found toy...a colander!  Banging, kicking and throwing the colander as well as water bottle and Tupperware; it was entertainment for hours. Uncle Brett helped to entertain Lily as well on Thanksgiving night at Grammy L's with his super-interesting knee bending contraption.  Why do we need toys?

On black Friday, we headed back up to Ba & Pops' for a family photo then back down to Gram's for Thanksgiving dinner #2. Lily got to see Aunt  Bri, Uncle Tony, Great Grammy and Great Poppy. She really enjoyed making a giant mess and playing with her food at Grammy Louise's.  Food was everywhere!

We are so blessed and thankful for our family!  We hope to instill in Lily all of the love we have learned over the years for our families and friends.  We love you all...sappy Mommy, signing off. Now on to the best part -- pictures of our Lillian!
