6 Months Old, Santa's Train and SNOW!

Believe it or not, Johnny is already 6 months old.  He was a champ at his doctor's visit and barely shed a tear after 4 shots and an oral vaccine. He weighed in at 19 lbs 3 oz and measured 27.5" long. He is in the 80% for both.  I thought he would be off the charts but I was wrong. Apparently there are bigger boys out there!

On Saturday, we had ballet class and then went up to Jack's house to ride the Tamaqua steam engine with Ba, Pops and DJ and his family.  Lily had so much fun.  The look on her face when Santa walked through the doors was just priceless.  After the train ride, we went back to Jack's house and built gingerbread houses! What a fun day!

Little did we know that 4 hours later we would be pounded with 8 inches of snow! (Thanks weatherman for your prediction of ONE INCH.)  Anyway...we made the best of it and Lily had so much fun playing with the neighborhood kids! 

And off she goes to play with the kids...doesn't need Mommy or Daddy anymore...sniff!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We had two fun filled family days of turkey this weekend.  Our first feast was at Ba and Pops' house then off to Grammy's for a feast the next day.  We all had a great time. We are so thankful for our family!

Ballerinas and Leaves

Miss Lily has turned into a Ballerina! She loves her class and this week they practiced tap dancing. If watching adorable little 3 & 4 year old girls learn to tap dance doesn't put a smile on your face, well, there is something wrong with you because it is the cutest thing on the planet! Well that's what Mommy thinks, anyway.

Ironically, all the girls with the same colors on stood next to each other.  

Lily's favorite part of class is "dancing" from one side to the other. AKA running. 

Lily and Mommy had a ball playing in the leaves in the yard this weekend, while Daddy worked. Boy, did we have fun!! We made the "biggest leaf pile in the whole wide world", according to Lily.  Giggles, smiles and big jumps for us both!
