A fun week

Mom and Johnny took Monday off to spend up at GiGi and Poppy's before Mom starts her new job next week. We had to send Lily off to school since she's a big first grader now and we must limit her tardy days.  But Johnny got to see Lily get on the bus, wave and blow kisses.  He is VERY excited for his turn on the bus in a few years.  So Johnny and Mom drove up to Allentown to play for the day. We played soccer with GiGi in her basement and had a very delicious lunch.  GiGi then won Johnny's heart with a remote control car for big boys!  He had a very fun day!  

A few days later, the kids got home from school to find the house decorated for Halloween.  The Halloween Witch came to visit and left the kids a trick or treat bag with a few fun snacks.  Their reactions were priceless!

Apples, apples, everywhere!

We took full advantage of the perfect fall weather this weekend and spent Saturday afternoon apple picking at Linvilla Orchards.  Although it was crowded, the kids had a blast running through the orchard, riding Dad's shoulders to pick the best apples and then playing on the playground.  After bringing our bushel home, Mom made an apple pie.  Tastes much better when you pick your own apples!

Sunday Dad went to the Steelers/Eagles game so Mom had fun with the kids in town. We had a ball at the playground and then ate dinner at Pinocchio's.  We couldn't have asked for a much better weekend than this.
