Pumpkins, Playing, Teeth and Grandparents Day!

We had some good old fashion pumpkin fun last Friday night.  We designed our pumpkins with broken crayons then melted them with wax.  The kids thought it was really cool, albeit a bit messy.

Between pumpkin waxing, the kids played and built a fort to watch a movie.  They've been getting along smashingly lately!

Lily's pumpkin!

Johnny's pumpkin with "only boy colors".

Just being silly during the movie.  :)

The next morning, I found them like this in Johnny's bed.  Too sweet!

AND someone lost a tooth on Saturday night!!!!!

AND THEN someone learned to ride her two-wheel bike like a pro!  No help needed anymore!

After stacking wood, the kids got a fun tractor ride around the yard.

More playing/building!

And last but not least, Thursday was Grandparent's Day at school for Lily.  GiGi and Grammy came down to participate.  They enjoyed hearing Lily's small moment story and seeing her classroom. Here they are before Lily jumped on the school bus!

More Fall Fun!

A two weekend recap here...(lots of pictures!)....The weeks are speeding by! Last weekend we held another movie night at the house, introducing Johnny to the movie Aladdin.  He loved it and both kids had fun interpretive dancing during the songs.

The remainder of the weekend...Johnny found an old riding toy and had fun driving around before basketball.  After basketball, Johnny built a few structures until Uncle Brett stopped by for dinner and a sword fight.

Then the week started.  Mom started her new job (which is great!) and we're back into a normal routine. The week flew by into the weekend where we had so much fun at soccer, the Renaissance Faire with friends and at Pioneer Evergreen Farms with Pops, Ba and Jack.

Saturday morning, before soccer and the Ren Faire, the kids received a Halloween package from Grandma and had fun opening and checking out some new clothes and decorations.

Lily has been really enjoying soccer and this week scored her first goal of the season!

After soccer, we sped off to the Ren Faire to meet our friends.  Lily and Johnny had a blast with Bella and Harper.  The highlight was watching Dad win the fencing competition between Keith and Bob!

On Sunday Johnny had basketball before we drove up north the farm.  The kids had the best time playing and running around!  Johnny's favorite part was the little kid bounce house and Lily's were the big slide, tricycle race and mining for gems with Jack.  There was so much to do, they were pooped by the end!
