Aquarium, Field Day & Sea Isle Weekend!

Lily's class took a trip to the Aquarium last week, followed by a day at work with Mom, Field Day at the Elementary School and right into a beautiful weekend at the beach in Sea Isle, NJ.  So much fun!!!

Lily loved the aquarium and the sting rays.  We stayed there for 35 minutes petting them!

Then she came to work with Mom.  Not the most exciting day, but she charmed everyone and had fun sitting on Mom's fun stability ball and Face-Timing her pal Maddie. 

Friday was Field Day.  Lily and her class competed all morning in races, games and challenges. 

After Field Day, Johnny and I came home to pack for the beach.  Johnny found lipgloss.....YIKES.

Finally made it to the beach on Friday afternoon.  Lily made herself right at home on the top floor, looking out onto the ocean. We headed to the beach after dinner to enjoy some waves and sand. 

Waking up to a beachfront view isn't bad! We had a perfect day at the beach with our buddies, Anthony and Emilia. Lily organized the sandcastle project and the two Batmen followed orders. 

The next day we were right back at it before heading home. Two amazing days! 

Someone was SUPER sad to head home! 

Until we took them to the arcade on the way out.  Then we were ALLLLL smiles!

Johnny Turns Four!

We have a FOUR year old!   Johnny requested a Lego birthday party for his festivities this year.  We lucked out to have a beautiful cool and sunny day for an outdoors party with family.  Today we just wrapped up Johnny's birthday with his friends party at a local play center.  He had LOADS of fun with all of his school buddies!

Besides that, we've been super busy getting the house together, planning summer and starting to wrap up the school year.  Lily had a poetry reading at her school mid-May which Mommy went to to support our sweet girl.   A few days later Lily wrapped up gymnastics for the year, had a playdate with her bestie (Maddie), found out she made the U8 travel soccer team (!!!!!!!), decided to pick up lacrosse - and is really learning quickly, and started intense swimming lessons at West Chester University for the second year in a row.    We've been busy!
