Lily's bottom teeth are breaking through! She had been pretty cranky for a few days and wasn't in her normal eating/sleeping pattern. We discovered that her teeth have started to make their way up/out. For the most part, she's been handling the discomfort fairly well; only gnawing on her hands occasionally when she doesn't have a toy nearby. She is proving to be an early developer as most babies get their first tooth anywhere from 4-7 months.
Lily completely picks her head up when she's on her belly and looks side to side. She still doesn't enjoy "tummy time" that much, but she is getting better. She loves, loves, loves to stand (with help) and is working hard on sitting up by herself. She coos and tries to talk all the time, it is so sweet. She even let out a little giggle on Father's Day. :)
We are all still getting used to our new schedule with Mom back at work. The mornings are hectic but Dad hasn't missed his train yet! (Lily and I drop him off before we head to daycare) Lily likes to keep Mom on her toes (and out of bed) with her varied night sleeping. She's lucky we love her so much!!
Here are a few pictures from this week.
