Tis the Season!

Happy Thanksgiving! We've had a great two weeks spending time together!

Grandma & PapPap came to visit for the weekend, only a few pictures of PapPap and Lily putting a puzzle together.  Apologies!

Mom has had some time to spend with the kids after finding a new job and having a few days off before Thanksgiving and starting new on the 30th.  Most of the time was spent with Lily at a few school events.  First, Mom helped out with the book fair.  Lily loved having her mom there to show off.  Mom loved every second! After the book fair, we took a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Natural History.  We heard they had a great butterfly room and dinosaur exhibit. It was a fun day of Mommy & Lily!   The next day, happened to be the Bozic turn for Guest Reader for Lily's kindergarten class. (Awesome timing!)  Lily picked a Tharp kid favorite, Streganona, for Mom to read as well as a healthy snack.  Her classmates loved the book!  An oldie but a goodie, for certain.  After that, Lil & Mom spent the afternoon at the salon getting haircuts.  A great few girls' days!

Mamma and her babies.  My happy place.
Breakfast at Lily's school to meet new families and the administration.  The whole family  was invited!

Haircut!

Let's see, what else has happened...Well, Dad survived a dinner out alone with the kids!  Happy kids, happy Dad, while Mom met her new co-workers for dinner in the city.  A feat in itself is getting two kids out the door in one piece solo, let alone a full dinner.  Kudos, Papa, kudos.  We had Mom's DrexelU friends over for dinner in our new kitchen, along with their kids. It was a lot of fun for all. Bella and Lily spent most of the time Dancing and Johnny and Harper played nicely together.

CHEEEEESE!

Dancing babes!

Rockin' out!

J & Harper!

So patiently waiting for dinner....by throwing utensils.

On to Thanksgiving...Taking advantage of Mom's last few hours as a kept lady, we visited Santa.  10am on a Wednesday = no lines!  Unfortunately, Johnny was not into it even after much prep and practices. Well, at least we have a hilarious picture.

Thanksgiving Eve, we started a new tradition of cookie making. New kitchen, new traditions!  Lily and Daddy, with minor assistance by Johnny, re-created Daddy's Grandma Frances' star cookies.  Dad and Lily had a lot of fun making the cookies and they turned out wonderful!

Thanksgiving Day, we packed up and spent the day and night with Pops, Ba and Jack. So much fun and food!  We celebrated Jack's birthday too, which was great!  He loves ice cream cake...Mom's favorite! We also played a family soccer game with DJ and his family and Pops.  It was hilarious and really, really fun.  No pictures of the game, but the kids all had a great time together before and after, dressing up in costumes and playing with Jack's endless toys!

Off to Grammy's we went.  Friday was another beautiful day and we spent a lot of time outside.  The kids loved the makeshift playhouse from last year and all three grandbabies helped decorate with tape this year. We all had fun playing games, Lily's favorite was Guess Who.  Johnny's was "run away from the monster"...the monster was anyone nearby.

Play house!
