Week #2 back to school and so far so good for both kiddos. The days are flying by but we are enjoying the summer weather as long as we can. Eating and playing outside often. We spent most of the weekend outside at soccer, fireworks and basketball. Oh, and there was a football game somewhere in there. :)
Johnny loves to assess his muscles every day after eating his vitamins.
Lily and Johnny received a great care package from grandma with dress up clothes, a new movie and some goodies. The kids really liked the "bug tape".
They spent a few minutes in the sandbox playing nicely.
Our first grader......6 going on 16.
Movie night! The Jungle Book!!!
Saturday morning, Lily had her second soccer game. We won 10-2. Lily was the star defender and Coach Meg could not be a prouder Mom or coach!! Later we scooted off to the park for fireworks and fun! Lily hula-hooped while Johnny ate Nutella before playing some games and then the fireworks.
As it got dark, we played glow stick ring toss!
Right next to basketball is a playground. The kids had fun playing early on Sunday morning before football.
Lily learned more about the Terrible Towel and had the best time running around the house waving her towel with every positive play.
