We blinked and she's seven. She's sweet, smart, sassy and has a heart filled with love. We are so proud and blessed.
Lily hit the jackpot once again this year. Her friend-party was on Sunday the 12th at a local sports center, where the kids rock climbed, played in a jungle gym, took over the arcade and bounced their hearts out in a bouncy house. Lily was thrilled to be surrounded by her buddies, old and new.
Tuesday, we had a snow day, so Lily got a "pre birthday" day off, playing with the neighbors. Although she's the only girl her age in the neighborhood, she doesn't mind playing with the boys (and they play well with her too).
Wednesday, Daddy was the Secret Reader for Lily's class. She was surprised and smitten that her Daddy came to read. Then Lily got to come home early and don her new Mal costume and watch Descendants.
Thursday, March 16th, we took Lily out to her favorite Italian restaurant for dinner to celebrate 7 amazing years. But first, she woke up to a room filled with balloons and decorated with streamers! Dinner was excellent and Lily was surprised by a birthday song and delicious dessert at the end. The night ended with presents from Mom, Dad and Johnny.
Friday Grandma, PapPap, and Aunt Krissy arrived just in time to greet Lily at the bus stop. Johnny and PapPap used "the force" to make the bus appear. It worked! When Lily got off the bus, she was very surprised!!! Later that night Auntie A arrived too for the continued birthday celebrations.
Saturday was the family party and a fun time was had by all. Lily's Pokemon theme spread through the house and the family willingly partook in one of Lily's favorite games, Beanboozled.
