Disney & Universal - Days 1 & 2

We had an amazing trip to Orlando.  More memories than we can remember!  Our trip started off a little rocky when our plane, which we boarded and were sitting on for an hour, deboarded and suddenly cancelled, causing mass chaos.  Luckily Dad can run fast and got to the ticket counter first and scored us the LAST four seats on the next plane to Orlando, which had already boarded and was leaving in 30 minute. .....at the OTHER END OF THE AIRPORT!  Dad and Lily took off sprinting, while Johnny, Mom and two carry-ons tried to keep up. Johnny got tired, so Mom picked him up and ran with him. Dad and Lily were nowhere in sight when we heard a "beep beep beeeeeeep".  An airport cart pulled up to us with one spare seat in the front. We jumped in happily and sped off to the gate.  Johnny was SO excited and thought it was the coolest thing!  We made it to the plane and then to Florida.  BUT, our luggage was still on the old plane! 

Day 1

We made the best of no luggage and checked in to the hotel at Disney and then took an Uber over to Universal to enjoy an afternoon at the park.  We went on a few rides and took the Harry Potter train for the first time. We stayed in the park until close and then went to the Universal City Walk for dinner at a Mexican restaurant.  It was a great first night!

Day 2

Our next day was a Disney, Magic Kingdom day.  Luckily, our luggage arrived during the night and was waiting for us when we woke up!  Hurray!  We were up early and off to the park for early hours and an eventful day.  Daddy even got picked for a show with a family friend who is a character, Lady Llewellen.  It was great!  We went on all of the rides, a few times for some, and even obliged Lily's request for Splash Mountain despite the low 60's temps.  We wrapped up the day at Be Our Guest restaurant, The Beast's castle, for dinner.  It was a great first full day!
