Surprise Spring Break in San Diego!!

We pulled it off!!! It was a normal Thursday until an early afternoon pick up to take Lily to the doctor. wink wink. Once we pulled in the airport parking lot, Lily picked up that we were not at the doctors office.  They figured it out pretty quickly after that! We spent April 11-16th in the beautiful state of California. It was lovely!

A quick dinner before takeoff... The kids did great on the flight and after landing (surprised by Uncle Jeffy at the airport!!), we all stayed up until 3am Eastern time! woah.

A bath the next morning before we headed out for the day.  

First stop, the beach and some volleyball before the Penguins game at a super fun bar, Bub's at the Beach. 

After a sad loss, we hung out at Uncle Jeffy's house and played some games before hitting the hay. 

The next morning was another beach day and walk to the amusement park at the end of the boardwalk. 

The next day we drove out to Safari Park for a beautiful day.  

Our last day, we went hiking on Scripps Coastal Reserve and then to the Birch aquarium.  

We wrapped up the day with dinner at The Fish Shop...which we got to via scooters and bike.  It was an experience!
