We're back!

After 3 weeks, we are back!  And Lily is as amazing as ever.  In the past three weeks, Lily has become an expert cleaner, talker and all around grown up. Brian and I have been feeling pretty nostalgic about our once helpless little Lily becoming (in our eyes), the world's most independent toddler. She loves to help Mom clean now, by following me around with a paper towel, wiping things down then going off on her own to clean her toys.  She doesn't like to be held any more (THE SADDEST THING EVER!!) and has to walk everywhere.

Last weekend, Grandma and Grandpap Bozic as well as Aunt Krissy and Simone came to visit.  We had a BLAST!  Lily loved having a "woof" to play with in the yard and loved the everlasting attention she got for 3 1/2 full days.

Like Mother, like daughter...boy did Daddy luck out.  :)

It was a great surprise to have Uncle Brett over for dinner for dinner last week as well.  Lily had a blast playing on her slide with Uncle Brett.

Video Time!
To preface the following videos, you need to know that Lily now LOVES the cats.  And the cats dont seem to mind her!! Our cats, for those who don't know, love to lay and sleep in boxes.  Any kind of boxes so when the last order of diapers and wipes arrived, the cats and Lily had a great time. The video's are split up below and are only a few seconds apart. The videos were taped on 9/9/11.

Bozic Family Vacation 2011

Labor day 2011 was a wonderful weekend spent in Pittsburgh with the entire Bozic clan, significant others and extended family.  Look out there are a lot, I mean A LOT of pictures!  We had so much fun and did so much around Pittsburgh.  Such a beautiful city!

The vacation started out early Thursday morning when Lily woke up and discovered the biggest Mickey Mouse on the planet in Grandma's living room.  Instant love.

An Earthquake and Hurricane Irene

Within a week, Lily experienced her first earthquake and hurricane.  The earthquake happened when she was at school on Tuesday, August 23rd.  Just some lightly shaking ground, everyone was fine and it was kind of cool to experience.  Four days later the east coast experienced a crazy hurricane, named Irene.  We were in the path of this girl so we stocked up on non-perishables, bought a generator (finally!) and hunkered in for the weekend.  We lost power for about 24 hours but Daddy worked his generator magic and brought Mickey and Elmo back to life on TV.  PHEW!  Lily really liked the hurricane, all of her outside toys came inside to play and she got 200% of Mom and Dad's attention. Lucky for us, Irene just blew down a few branches and we're going to get a head start on our fall leaf collection.

SO EXCITED THE SLIDE IS INSIDE!!!! (she went down it about 700 times!)

All is well in the sandbox...phew.

"Yes Mom, I AM SO BIG.  Now please for the love of God, stop asking me this question."  I think we're taking a break from the "How big is Lily" game.  :-)

We're headed to 'da Burgh tomorrow for a long weekend with the whole Bozic clan.  Lots of pictures to come!!
