Grandma and Pap Pap came in for the week to hang with the kids in between camps and school. It was a great week! So much fun at the house and out in Media.
Grandma bought the kids Angry Birds which came with some sweet eyebrows. Johnny enjoyed playing dress up with them.
Pap Pap spent a lot of time with Johnny playing baseball and invented a new game called "Ready, Set, Go!" where Johnny was released from the top of the garage in his car and flew down the top of the driveway. He LOVED it.
The kids taught Grandma and Pap Pap how to play Wii bowling. Also, note Lily's sweet new outfit. Grandma took her to her favorite store for some back to school shopping!
"Start em young"! Johnny will be a game player like the rest of us! Grandma taught him Memory/Match. He got so excited when he remembered his match!
Lily and Johnny spent time dancing with the Wii. Johnny must have disappeared for this picture.
Tuesday we went out for dinner in town. The kids carb loaded and enjoyed every single bite.
Later on in the week, the kids had an epic 300 water balloon fight with grandma!
Throughout the week, the family room turned into an obstacle course. No one is allowed on the couch and pillows are the path. Here's Lily at the starting point. A flip off of the trampoline onto the couch.
Saturday came and Grandma and Pap Pap headed home. Since Daddy was away with friends, we had a play date at Bella's house. The kids could not get enough of the giant water slide. They again got to have a water balloon fight together.
Later on Saturday, Lily had her best pal, Maddie over for a sleep over. It's their last opportunity before school starts, so how could I say no!? They had a fun movie night, slept pretty well, made and ate Grandma's/Lily's famous french toast in the morning.
Mid way through Sunday, the kids were being so good helping to pack and get ready for our trips next week that I took them to Rita's. Johnny of course got a chocolate cone and Lily selected blue raspberry water ice with M&M's. Johnny refused to look so I told him I had a bee on my head and he looked. :P Gotcha!
